The Actual Difference Between Men Who Are Hot and Men Who Are Handsome.

This is my response to this article: Actual Differences Between Women Who Are Hot and Who are Beautiful

Men are hot, sexy, jocks, built, dude, stud, beast, tiger, stallion, hornballs, jokers, rough, player, cocky, sculpted...you get my point.

When's the last time you heard a woman tell a man he is handsome?  Why is it that men, in order to get the attention of a woman have to have spiked hair, huge muscles, a sick tan, a nice car, and a fat wallet?  Whatever happened to appreciating a man for being charming, respectful, and chivalrous? Is chivalry dead or is it the lack of appreciation for trying what forces men to act tougher, be meaner, and pretend to be less sensitive?

My mother raised me to open doors, say please and thank you, show respect, pay for dinner, give jackets, and be a gentleman.  But nowadays it just seems like all women care about is how much he can bench press, how good he is in bed, and if he drives a BMW.

Why is having a good job, being dependent, or funny, treating people with respect, and having self-confidence not considered sexy?  Why does a man have to have a six, eight, or twelve pack to be attractive? Why can't a man be considered sexy by his own standards?  Why should a man be ashamed to take of his shirt at the beach just because he's not cut?  So what if he doesn't make six figures, what if he loves what he does? Why are men that can change their oil, change a tire, make dinner, make people laugh, act crazy, can dance, or dance even when they know they can't, be supportive, provide safety and comfort overlooked by more muscles and money?

Men are smart, talented, funny, caring, sensitive human beings and it's time women start realizing that there are handsome men in this world that aren't just here to look good for you.  

Hot is friending you on facebook after a one-night stand; Handsome is calling you the next day.

Hot is hitting on both you and your friend; Handsome is making you feel like there's nobody else around

Hot is being able to bench 250; Handsome is being able to lift your spirits when you're down.

Hot is wearing clothes 2 sizes too small so you look big; Handsome is dressing to impress

Hot is taking a selfie with your shirt off; Handsome is realizing selfies are fucking stupid.

Hot is how you look; Handsome is how you feel.

Hot is unreliable; Handsome is always there.

Hot is his smile; Handsome is how he articulates his words.

Hot is how rude he is; Handsome is being a gentleman.
